Game Submission

We welcome submissions from Individuals and Organisations who would like to run participation games and events at Q-Con. The Timetable slots (each 3 hours long) available at Q-Con are:

Friday (1 Slot) 7pm to 10pm
Saturday (2 Slots) 10.30am to 1.30pm, 3pm to 6pm
Sunday (2 Slots) 11am to 2pm, 3pm to 6pm

To submit a game, please use the email address on the Contact page. We require the following information for each submission:

  1. Name (and Organisation if appropriate)
  2. Contact Email Address and Mobile Phone Number
  3. Which Timetable slot you would like to run your game in (first come, first served - the sooner you submit, the more likely you'll get the slot you want!). If you have a game that you would like to run outside the normal timetable slots, or require more than one slot, please let us know why.
  4. Maximum number of people required. Please let us know if you want to run more than one game/table at a time.
  5. Details about the submission - what type of event (tabletop RPG, LARP, etc), what system (e.g. D&D, CoC, etc), and a quick rundown of what the basis of the game will be. We also need to know if your game will feature themes that are unsuitable for <18's.
  6. Who will run your game? This should normally and preferably be yourself, or any other GM's you can nominate.
  7. Are there any other special requirements/props?

If there are any other aspects to your game that is not covered above that you would like to discuss, or if you have any other questions, please let us know. Individuals and Organisations that submit games will receive full attribution on the Convention Handbook and Event pages on the website, and Organisations can also be listed as Convention Supporters on the website. You will receive a free GM Pack (detailed below) as appreciation for your contribution to the Convention.

The Deadlines for submissions are:

  1. Initial Details - These should be submitted immediately, along with a blurb for the Q-Con website.
  2. Game/Event Summary for the Convention Handbook - Friday 16th May 2008.
  3. Full Game/Event Details (e.g. the Scenario you are running) - Friday 30th May 2008.

If we do not receive the full details of your game before the deadline, it will be pulled from the games schedule. Please note that the sooner you submit information, the more likely you are to get the slot you want. Your Game Summary can also be published on our website for prospective players to see, shortly after it is submitted to us.

If you have any larger events that you would like to run at Q-Con outside the scope of normal games, please Contact Us to discuss it. We are always interested in running joint events.
