At Q-Con we try to remember where we came from and how better to support our attendees who make this convention what it is. As always we will have a collection of local charities and associations expressing how great this country is; whether that be showcasing talent or providing support for what matters!

Charities and Associations 2025

  • Hamster Info Ireland

    We are committed to preventing cruelty and promoting the proper care of hamsters. Through our activities, we aim to reduce hamster suffering and increase hamster well being as much as possible.

  • Farset Labs

    Farset Labs is a community funded and volunteer operated charity, opened in 2012 as a place for creativity and technological tinkering.

  • Battlebots

    Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, authors and commercial exhibitors. They are of all ages and backgrounds, coming from all over Ireland and beyond.

  • The Rainbow Project

    Promoting the Health and Wellbeing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and/or Asexual people and their families in Northern Ireland

  • Cosplay Photographers Association of Ireland

    The Cosplay Photographers Association of Ireland (CPAI) is a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation founded by Liam Dunne and Amy Shearer.

  • Causeway Legions

    We are the Northern Ireland based Groups for the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion, both of whom are Global Star Wars Costuming Clubs.

  • Aware Defeat Depression

    AWARE delivers mental health and well-being programmes into communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces. These programmes include our suite of Mood Matters programmes, Living Life to the Full, Mental Health First Aid and Mindfulness.

  • Kippie

    At Kippie, we’re all about games—playing them, making them, and using them to inspire the next generation of creators! We believe games aren’t just entertainment; they’re a gateway to learning, creativity, and future careers in game development.

  • Irish Video Game Orchestra

    Based out of Belfast, the Irish Video Game Orchestra has stunned audiences throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. Combining the sound of a live orchestra with the sights of video playback and an energising light show, the IVGO presents a show unlike any other. 

  • Ghostbusters Northern Ireland

    At Ghostbusters Northern Ireland, we’re more than just a cosplay group. We’re a tight-knit family brought together by our shared passion for all things Ghostbusters.
