Welcome to the Artists Alley, where local artists showcase their work!
With stunning prints of original artwork, handmade crafts and even some offering personalised art and items, the Artists Alley is a treasure trove of creativity. Come along and support the vibrant community of artists who bring your favourite fandoms to life!
Artist Alley Applications are NOW CLOSED for 2026.
All applicants will receive a response, approximately 2 weeks after the application form closes on 29th March.
Please note that personalised feedback upon rejection is not something we, as a voluntary team, can facilitate. While we would love to accept every application, we are working with very limited space.
We are no longer using a first-come-first-served basis for Artist Alley acceptance, instead we will be using the following considerations to pick successful applicants:
Ensuring a good mix of nerdy fandoms, and mediums.
Ensuring a good mix of the following:
Returning applicants from last year.
Returning applicants who were not there last year
Applicants new to Q-Con
Applicants for whom Q-Con will be their first ever convention.
Local applicants
We will NOT accept any AI generated artwork.

We were blown away by the amount of fantastic bags presented last year and so we’re running it back!

Submission Guidelines
Content Flexibility: We have two categories: Otaku and Pop Culture. If you are unsure which your bag falls into please ask on the day during submission.
Audience Suitability: All entries must be appropriate for all ages.
During submission we will take a picture of your bag for our reference to help pick the winner and for display at the Artist Alley entrance.
Deadline Requirement: Submissions must be completed in person (ITA Bags must be presented to competition desk for photo) and will be open from 9:30AM on Saturday 20th June to 3:00 PM on Sunday 21st June, located at the front of Artist Alley.

Content Flexibility: We have two styles: Traditional and Digital. Also this year we have a theme- SPACE! You are free to interpret or make use of this in any way you like.
Audience Suitability: Please note AI generated Art and NSFW Art is not permitted for the contest.
All submissions are physical and will be displayed in Artist Alley.
Deadline Requirement: Submission forms must be completed in person (we will not accept email entries) and will be open from 9:30am on Saturday 20th June to 3:00pm on Sunday 21st June, located at the front of Artist Alley.

Digital artists must print their entry. Traditional artists please submit a photocopy, NOT the original copy of your work.

Submission Guidelines
Content Flexibility: Submissions do not need to be anime-related. All creative video edits are welcome.
Audience Suitability: All entries must be appropriate for all ages.
Original Work: Please ensure your submission is your own original edit.
The submission should not exceed 3 minutes in length.
Deadline Requirement: All entries must be submitted before the official deadline. 7pm 15th May.
