Convention Openning & CLosing TImes
Q-Con opens at 09:30 on Saturday 14th June, and wraps-up at 18:00 on Sunday 15th June 2025!
Last entry through Main Registration at the Whitla Hall for ticket holders on Saturday and Sunday is at 17:00.
Most convention activities run from 09:30 to 1800, with some Saturday Evening 18+ social events running from 1800 to close.
Attendees arriving late for Saturday Evening 18+ activites, should go to the Students Union Entrance with their Ticket QR code to gain access (NB. evening activities are subject to restricted First Come First Served capacity, and the Pub Quiz needs an additional event ticket).

Whitla Hall
The Main Registration Desk is located in Whitla Hall - stop by to pick up your attendee wristband. Pre-ordered 2025 t-shirt collection and Lost & Found are here too! You can also purchase an exclusive Q-Con lanyard for your collection. This year we are once again running a Stamp Rally for attendees. Simply collect a stamp rally booklet and search for the stamps in certain sections! Note: There is a limited amount of stamp rally booklets so be sure to collect yours early!
The expansive main Trade Hall is also located here, where you can shop merchandise from your favorite pop culture and nerdy fandoms!
Open from 9:30-18:00 both Saturday and Sunday.

Queen’s Students’ Union, One Elmwood
On the Ground Floor you can find a collection of local Association & Charities, showcasing talent, fighting robots, and generating support for worthy causes!
You’ll also find towards the back of the building the entrance to the Mandela Hall, where we have all of our stage events and Cosplay!
Finally on the Ground Floor, both the SPAR Union Shop and the Social (Café) are open for your snack related needs!
On the 1st Floor you’ll find our talented Indie Games Devs, the team from Base Arcade, and Modern Console Games!
On the 2nd Floor you’ll find our Console Tournaments in The Drawing Room, and our Cosplay Panels / Events in The Annex!
On the 3rd Floor you’ll find our Retro Classics, Light Gun Arena, and our PC eSports!
This building is open to the public until 22:00, however Q-Con events will be wrapping up at 18:00 (except for our 18+ Social Events).
Mandela Hall, Students’ Union, One Elmwood
Located towards the back of the Students’ Union, One Elmwood building is the entrance to the Mandela Hall, where we have all of our Stage Events and Cosplay!
This venue is open from 09:30 to 18:00 each day, but has some restricted times for safety briefings / setup, and our 18+ Social Events will run until late.
The Union Bar
Students’ Union, One Elmwood
Located on the 2nd floor of the Students’ Union, One Elmwood building is the entrance to the Union Bar, where we have all of our 18+ Social Events on Saturday Evening!
This venue is open from 09:30 to 18:00 each day to the public, but Q-Con 18+ Social Events are open to Q-Con attendees only.
Annex / Wee Bar
Students’ Union, One Elmwood
Located on the 2nd floor of the Students’ Union, One Elmwood building is the entrance to the Annex / Wee Bar, where we have all of our Annex Events during the day and some 18+ Social Events on Saturday Evening!
This venue is open from 09:30 to 18:00 each day, but has some restricted times for safety briefings / setup, and our 18+ Social Events will run until late.

Elmwood Hall
With over 64 artists at our Artist Alley, Elmwood Hall is not to be missed for the best fan created art and merch!
You’ll also find the amazing Pixel35 Photography, running the Q-Con Cosplay Photo Studio!
Open from 9:30-18:00 both Saturday and Sunday.
Lanyon Building
On the Ground Floor you can find our fantastic Collectable Card Games in the Great Hall (go right at the end of the main entrance checkered hallway!
On the First Floor you’ll also find more Collectable Card Games in the Canada Room (go left up the stairs from within the main entrance checkered hallway)!

On the Ground Floor you can find our fantastic Board Games in the Cafe Area, and Wargames in the Foyer Area!
