Miniature Painting Competition

Q-Con is proud to host a miniature painting competition! We're excited to host your painting projects from the past year, allowing you to compete for a grand prize of £100 and bragging rights. Submissions are open all day Saturday until 3pm on Sunday, with results announced at 4pm on Sunday. Models must be painted wholly by yourself, and must be physically given to us for photography. Event submissions to be brought to the second floor or the Peter Froggatt Centre 02/018 as judging will occur aside from the main Warhammer 40k tournament.

CLUE Random Dance Panel

It will be a K-Pop Random Dance panel with prizes. A K-pop random dance is a social activity where participants, often K-pop fans, come together to dance to random songs or parts of songs. A song (or part of a song) is played, and anyone who knows the choreography for that song joins in the dance.

Public Access: The House on Escondido Street

Public Access is a tabletop roleplaying game about a group of people in 2004—the Deep Lake Latchkeys—who find themselves investigating strange mysteries in and around the town of Deep Lake, New Mexico. In the ‘80s and early ‘90s, Deep Lake was the home of a notorious public access television station called TV Odyssey, the history and fate of which—the station literally disappeared—is the source of much speculation in certain corners of the internet. As the Latchkeys conduct their investigations in Deep Lake, they will become increasingly aware of the central role TV Odyssey plays in everything that’s going on, and will have to face whatever terrible truth lies at the heart of the infamous station.

The Between: The St James Ghost

The Between is a tabletop roleplaying game about a group of mysterious monster hunters in Victorian-era London. These hunters learn about various monstrous threats in the city and conduct investigations, or “hunts,” in order to neutralize them. They gradually become aware of the machinations of a criminal mastermind who is sometimes connected to the threats, but always scheming to bring the Crown to its knees. The hunters will ultimately be forced to reckon with this criminal mastermind in order to save the country.
