Roleplaying Games have been fundamental to Q-Con since it's inception, and this year we are continuing that legacy by hosting games from all genres ran by the partners that make the RPG community so special.
Come on down to the Peter Froggatt Centre this year for the chance to participate in some Tabletop RPG's, LARP Events or Live Panels that you're sure to enjoy!

Whether you're a hobby veteran who's been slumming it since Chainmail first dropped or someone who's just got a character sheet and a dream, we've got something for you!

    'The Dare' a 'Call of Kidthulhu' one shot adventure centered around a group of 1980s school children dared to spend Hallowe'en night in a creepy abandoned house at the edge of town. The Dare is a one-shot scenario for Call of Cthulhu® 7th Edition, intended for four or more players.

    But here you are on Halloween Night, all because of that jerk Roger. He dared you and your friends to spend the night there. You couldn’t let him bully you. You will show him who is chicken! Everybody knows that there are no such things as ghosts... right?

    Get your slingshot and your pocket knife. Grab some candy and ready your Rubik’s Cube. You and your friends are going to go face-to-face with the horrors of the Barnaker House. Hopefully you will live to see the dawn."

    "First contact with a new civilisation is the highpoint of every Starfleet crew's life. That's why they're out there. When the crew of the USS Challenger is given the opportunity to conduct first contact with the Nanabozians, everyone is excited. But then things derail very quickly, and the crew needs to find out what happened before another great power enters the fray - the Klingons, who are interested in their version of first contact!

    All materials for the game (including pre-generated characters) will be provided at the table.

    The game may include threats of mild violence. Depictions will be moderated in an age-appropriate manner. We will use the X-Card safety tool."

    "TRACK DOGS is a weird science fantasy Powered By The Apocalypse game about a post-apocalyptic ""golden age of rail"" where trains travel like ships over the top of a sea of perilous forest.

    In "The Dawneater Alessia", 3-5 adherents of the sun goddess Skylum must flee to the east to her holy city and keep ahead of the terrifying "Dawneater Alessia"- A sinister train that pulls eternal night in its wake.

    In "Down And Drowned And Never Found" 3-5 "Undergrounders" must attempt to navigate the tunnel network beneath the earth in their train in search for a mysterious angel that calls out to them in dreams.

    In "White Frontier", 3-5 settlers explore the wastes of the frozen north in search of a place to found a new city. Will they find the promised land, or be subsumed by the white frontier?"

  • Draw Steel - Road to Broadhurst

    Peter Froggatt Centre - Room 02/010

    "A virulent goat-pox plagues the local goat population in Broadhurst. No one in the small farming village has the know-how or the resources to fix the problem. But an enterprising trio in the nearby town of Wend has a solution. Feoc, a merchant with a bleeding heart, is originally from Broadhurst. He’s teamed up with a friend from the same hometown, an eccentric but brilliant alchemist named Myrna, and her husband, Hector, a penny-pinching herbalist. Myrna and Hector have brewed a medicine that cures the pox. Feoc has a sturdy merchant’s cart and an old nag that could make the journey to Broadhurst. There have been rumours of bandit raids and goblin attacks on the road, so they also need some guards.

    Road to Broadhurst is a short, modular adventure for Draw Steel, an action-oriented fantasy RPG from MCDM. It's written for three to six 1st-level heroes and a Director. This adventure comes with pregenerated heroes and was designed specifically for conventions. "

It was rumored to be flooded and hold a the lair and fortune of an unnamed necromancer 100 years ago. The party has invested in tools to fight the undead and followed the map to a clearing where the creek flows into a cliffside tunnel…
